Hilarious and Sweet

Ky put on some of my mascara and then tried to wear her pj top as bottoms

What a supermodel!

She is growing up WAY too fast

And before I know it she will really fit into my shoes!

I captured a funny moment

and Chris captured the sweet one!

A special day

Dusty was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday October 9th 2010. His dad both baptized and confirmed him.

We had a few visitors that were able to make it for his special day. Here he is with the Anderson grandparents.
And the Scott grandparents. We were also very lucky to have his great-grandma Scott fly in for the weekend.
Uncle Aj and Aunt Kim

Here he is with one of his absolute bestest buddies, DREW.

Another one of his best buddies

And his most favorite best friend of all - just kidding! We are so proud of Dusty and so excited for him. We want to thank all of our family and friends who were able to make it and all of those who thought of us on his special day. We are so blessed. Thanks for the "handsome grandpa" that gave a talk and for Hayden being brave enough to give the prayer. Also thank you for all of the gifts he recieved, he loves each one of them and helped make his day special. Dusty is such a cute little guy and I love how he takes everything in. He is so valiant and such a good example to our family. I love seeing him put his first set of scriptures to use already. He loves to read them and he has gone through and marked as many scriptures he can find that talks about baptism and the Holy Ghost. His baptism was such a neat experience. I love that Hayden has said for several months in every prayer, "We're thankful that we can be baptized". And I love that as soon as the baptism program started I lifted up Kyrie's dress to check her diaper and found that she was wearing a pair of Dusty's Wall-E underware. It was SO hard to not burst out laughing.
When we got back to the house Aj was mauled by the kids. The kids just can't stand to let him have even a second to himself!

This is the car my parents had for the weekend. My dad settled for this one since the car rental place didn't have anymore MUSTANGS! Dusty and Hayden were both pretty excited to go for a few rides in this car!One night I asked Kyried to give squeezes before she headed up to bed. She willingly gave everybody a hug, and they lasted the normal 1/2 second, except for her great-grandma Scott. She snuggled and cuddled and held on so tight for several minutes. It was so sweet! She is one smart girl, Grandma is one of my favorites too! Here are the 2 Belles, Lula Belle and Kyrie Belle. I adore this picture of them. All 3 kiddos with Grandma, this was on another night after a lot of company, a long weekend and one exhausted Little Miss.

And this is how picture taking went with my parents.....

Anderson Farms

Hayden let me go to a farm/pumpkin patch with him again this year for a field trip. I am so lucky that's 3 years in a row. This year we went to Anderson Farms.
First thing when we got there, we hopped on a great big trailer that hauled 2 kindergarten classes, teachers and parents to the pumpkin fields.

He chose the perfect pumpkin to bring back home.
There was lots to do and see, but he especially loved the trike track. But we all had fun and managed to get worn out. On the way home, Hayden said, "what is so fun about getting tired?".

Flashback

I had a bunch of errands to run today, including a quick visit to a different Walmart than we usually go to. The second we walked into the store Kyrie started to scream and throw a fit. She was throwing herself around in the shopping cart just like Hayden used to everytime we walked into the store. Hayden was a pro at having a meltdown everywhere we went and Ky reminded me all about it. So I did the same to her as I used to with him, buckled her in with hopes that I could get my shopping done quick and get out of there as fast as I could. Then I realized, (it took me a minute or two) that she was screaming "McDonalds!". There was a little McDs inside Walmart right by the door and she was reaching her arms out in that direction as she screamed. I had no idea that she knew anything about McDonalds!
