Pre-school

Here is Hayden outside the doors of his Pre-school. Today is his first day! Here I was thinking that he was going to cry and have a hard time, but nope, he did just fine. We went in and found his class and he was so excited and didn't even want a kiss goodbye. He is now going to Preschool for a little speech therapy.

So these are my two little guys, that I guess really aren't so little anymore. Dusty Boy is now 5 years old. It doesn't seem possible to me. He has grown so fast. He is now our little comedian, and also my little cuddle bug. He loves to play with other kids, and he loves to ride his bike and his scooter. He loves to go to his Papa's and Grandma's house. He loves ice cream and french dip sandwiches. But most of all, he loves to play cars. Ever since he was tiny he has loved anything with wheels. He spends hours and hours everyday with his cars and just can't seem to get enough.

And next comes our Hayden. He is now 3, he was born 2 years and 1 day after his brother. Hayden is our sweetie with adorable blue eyes. At least we can now see his eyes. When he was younger, his cheeks were so big that his eyes would disappear when he smiled. He is very strong-willed, and hopefully that will come in handy as he gets older. He is a daddy's boy. He loves chocolate and his bear blanket. He spends his time doing whatever his brother does. They are best buds (most of the time).

We are bloggers

So here we are, we have joined the blogging world! I spent quite a bit of time learning a few tricks, and now we're smooth sailing. It is kinda fun! My sister, Sherin gave me the links to some friends, and I have spent hours looking at their blogs, marveling at how cute their families are and have enjoyed seeing what they are up to now. I still love to look at their blogs, but I have decided to spend some of my computer time on our own blog so now we can show how cute our family is too! So down at the bottom I have put up a slide show of some of my favorite memories and pictures from the last couple of years, it takes awhile but I hope you enjoy - I do! And for those of you who haven't started a blog, just a warning, once you get it all figured out, it's addicting!

Potty training

This is the reward! The reward for going potty, or at least sitting on the toilet. I have had such a hard time getting Hayden to even sit on the toilet. I have tried for months. I have used several different bribes. The last one was I would take just him to a special store to get whatever ice cream he wanted if he would fill up his potty chart. I would tell him if he needed to go potty, he needed to tell mom. And then I would ask him "If you need to go potty, what are you going to do?" And he'd say "Go get ice cream." Well, we finally made it to the ice cream. We are still working on potty training, he wants to be in control, so just getting him to sit on the toilet is HUGE for us. So his pick, bubblegum ice cream with gummy bears in a bowl from Twilagers.

Our stink bug

So this is our little stink bug. Hayden has not liked his bed lately. He wants one like mine. The other night after we had put the boys to bed, I had gone in later to check on them and found Hayden had climbed into bed with his brother and had fallen asleep. It was so cute! I'm sure that he realizes that his bed is identical to his brothers bed, so I'm not sure why he thought it would be any better.
