School is out! But not without some fun first! I was able to go on a field trip to the zoo with Dusty's class, it was really fun. I have been able to go on all of Hayden's field trips throughout the last few years, but this is the first time I was able to go on one with Dusty Boy.

Easter 2011
So I am slow posting about Easter, but I want to document it anyway. This year we decided to go back to Utah again for Easter, especially since it had been 8 months since we had been up to see the family. We were able to see a lot of extended family members that we haven't seen for several years, and some that we had never met.

just life
I have been wanting to post for awhile, but it seems hard to find the time anymore. I guess I can try to catch up later with the fun pics I want to post. It just seems time is running out, there is so much I want to do before the boys get out of school, which they only have 7 days left, 3 of which I will be at the school with them! I also feel like there is so much I want to do before our roommate arrives, which isn't too far away either, although going in to see the OB every 2 weeks so far makes this pregnancy seem to last forever! And I also have much I want to accomplish before our possible next big move. Time is so precious and it is hard for me to decide how to manage it. There are things that have to be done, that need to be done, things I should do and want to do. And I have to fit my new goal in everyday, which is spend lots of time with my hubby. The last few years we have pretty much neglected each other, spending all of our time on kids, work and other demanding things. We decided we need time for each other, and the last couple of weeks have been so nice! We even were able to go on a date. We ate at our favorite Greek restaurant, and for an appetizer we had flaming goat cheese. They brought out a big hunk of cheese and started it on fire. The edges were a little crispy, and the rest was warm and melty and it was so yummy! Then we went to the mall and just walked around and held hands and talked. Our other plans were put on hold because of the cold weather, and it only took about a dozen phone calls to find a babysitter, but it was worth it to get on our own. I felt so in love and it was nice to be just the 2 of us for a change. We definately have to get out more often! We have a few fun ideas for date nights, and I can't wait to go on another one! Spending time with Chris has jumped way up on my list of priorities, I am so lucky to be the one that married him!
Chris's big talk is no longer just talk anymore, he finally got his motorcycle. He loves it, and I know he will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. But to me, it's just scary!!! I know he will be careful, I'm just not so sure about all of the other vehicles on the road! His motorcycle was his big mother's day weekend purchase. It's okay, I got spoiled too! I got up Sunday morning and decided to thin out a couple of big handfuls of my hair and Chris came up with breakfast, so I jumped back in bed. I have never had breakfast in bed before, except for at the hosptial so it was really nice. I for once was able to eat without getting up several times for the kids for one reason or another. I got cards, a couple of dozen roses and lots of sweet lovins and small tokens from the Chris and kids. The kids got to bed on time and Chris and I had some time for ourselves. It was a great day!
The kids just continue to grow faster than I would have ever imagined. Dusty will always be Dusty, he has moved at full speed ever since he was in my belly. He was constantly active, and right after he was born, the rest of the family got to see how fast he moves. He goes and goes and just can't seem to stop. He can make a lot of choas and messes with his speed and imagination, so I can imagine this summer will be fun! Hayden is so opposite from his brother and although I hate to see him spend so much time on the computer, it is nice to have him quietly sit there instead of whirling around like another tornado. Kyrie is as girly as can be, I really need to upload some of her most recent pics with all of her girly attire. She has been so easy so far and I hope it stays that way! Last week she decided she was too big for her crib, and just seconds after I laid her down in her crib, I heard a thud, ran back to her room and found her on the floor. Transitioning her into her toddler bed was so simple. We said her prayers, and she excitedly ran for her bed, without the normal hugs and kisses. She was so happy to be able to get in her bed all by herself.
The last few days have felt like summer and the kids are already begging for the swimming pool to be filled. It has been nice to feel the sun! We have enjoyed seeing the baby bunnies come into our back yard everyday to eat our not so green grass. It might not be so much fun to have them when our garden grows though! We are so excited for summer and have a few things lined out. First of all, some time for just Chris and I - I can't wait! We also have a camping trip planned with some friends, and hopefully a trip back to Utah. The second half of the summer will have to be fun that's all close to home as we wait for the safe arrival of this baby. We are just about done with all the repairs from the hail storm from a year ago, and when we close out on that claim, it will be definately something to celebrate! We have so much to look forward to (especially another date)!
